Hello! My name is Mrs. Middaugh, and I am so excited to be a part of Vista Academy here in Elgin. It’s going to be an exciting year with many new adventures and fun filled learning. I want to learn all about you, but first let me tell you a few things about myself!

I was raised here in Elgin and graduated from Elgin High School in 2000. I received my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Tarleton State University.

I married my high school sweetheart Eric, and we have 2 beautiful children, Logan (he’s 4 years old) and Landry (she is 2 years old). I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy reading, shopping and baking sweets.

This will be my 7th year teaching 2nd grade, and my second year here at Vista. I previously taught at Science Hall Elementary in Hays CISD. I love teaching 2nd grade, and feel lucky to teach such a wonderful grade.

I am so excited to be your teacher this year, and can’t wait to see your smiling faces on the first day of school!
